Type of data processed

This website offers informational content and, at times, interactive features. During your browsing of the site, information about the visitor may therefore be collected in the following ways:

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of this website collect, during their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes: IP addresses, the type of browser used, the operating system, the domain name and the web addresses from which access was made, information about the pages visited by users within the site, the time of access, the duration on individual pages, internal path analysis, and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computing environment.

Additional categories of data

This includes all personal data provided by the visitor through the website, for example, by submitting an enquiry via the contact forms available on the site.

Purpose of the processing:

Purpose 1: To provide information and/or respond to requests submitted by the user.

The treatments carried out for these purposes are necessary to fulfil contractual obligations and do not require the data subject’s specific consent.

Purpose 2: To assess your experience using our platforms, the products and services we offer, and to ensure the proper functioning of the web pages and their content.

The treatments carried out for these purposes are based on the Data Controller’s legitimate interests.

Purpose 3: To carry out activities of analysis and processing of information related to the user, their preferences, habits, consumption choices, and/or browsing experiences.

The treatments carried out for these purposes are performed with the user’s specific consent.

Scope of data circulation and data transfer outside the EU

For administrative purposes, we inform you that your data may be communicated by the Data Controller to external collaborators (for example, accounting firms) for processing, limited to fulfilling your requests received through the website.

Pursuant to Article 43 of the Privacy Code and Article 44 of the GDPR, the Data Controller may transfer your personal data to third parties located in countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In such cases, the Data Controller ensures the adoption of appropriate safeguards (such as the signing of standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission) with the foreign recipient company; these clauses guarantee a level of data protection equivalent to that established by European legislation.

Data processing mode

The processing of personal data is carried out mainly using electronic procedures and supports (databases, CRM platforms, etc.) for the strictly necessary time to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and, in any case, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, non-excessiveness, and relevance provided for by the current privacy legislation.

Redirecting to external sites

The website may use so-called social plug-ins. Social plug-ins are tools that embed social network functionality directly into a website (e.g., Facebook’s ‘Like’ button). All social plug-ins on the site are marked with the respective logos of the social network platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn). When you visit a page on our website and interact with the plug-in (e.g., by clicking the ‘Like’ button) or leave a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to the social network platform and stored there. For information on the purposes, type, and methods of collection, processing, use, and storage of personal data by the social network platform, as well as how to exercise your rights, please refer to the privacy policy adopted by each individual social network.

Link to/from third-party sites

From this website, you can link to other websites via specific links, or link to our website from third-party websites. The Data Controller disclaims any responsibility for any request and/or release of personal data to third-party sites, and for the management of authentication credentials provided by third parties.

Data Retention

We inform you that any browsing logs recorded will be retained by the Data Controller for six months. We will process the data you provide for the duration of our contractual relationship and, after that, keep it only as long as necessary to meet legal obligations, unless further retention is required to defend or enforce a right or to comply with additional legal requirements or orders from authorities.

Rights of the data subjects

The data subjects to whom the above-mentioned data refer (so-called interested parties) have the right to exercise their rights in accordance with the methods and within the limits set out in the current privacy legislation. Regarding the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request from the Data Controller:

Access: you may request confirmation as to whether data processing concerning you is in place, further clarification regarding the information contained in this Privacy Notice, and, within reasonable limits, the data itself.

The correction: You can request to correct or supplement the data you have provided us with or that we hold, in case they are inaccurate.

The cancellation: you may request that your acquired or processed data be deleted, if they are no longer necessary for our purposes or if there are no ongoing disputes or objections, in the event of revocation of consent or opposition to the processing, in the case of unlawful processing, or if there is a legal obligation to delete.

The restriction: you may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data when one of the conditions referred to in Article 18 of the GDPR applies; in such cases, your data will not be processed, except for storage, without your consent, with the exception of what is explicitly stated in the same article at paragraph 2.

The opposition: can oppose at any time to the processing of their data based on our legitimate interest, unless we have legitimate reasons for processing that outweigh their interests, for example, for the exercise or defence of our rights in legal proceedings; their opposition will always and in any case take precedence over our legitimate interest in processing their data for marketing purposes.

Portability: you may request to receive your data, or to have it transmitted to another data controller you indicate, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Furthermore, pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 3, of the GDPR, we inform you that you may exercise your right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, which in Italy is the Data Protection Authority. To exercise these rights, report problems, or request clarifications regarding the processing of your data, you can use the contact form available on the website or send an email to the address specified in the paragraph ‘Data Controller’.

We also inform you that it is possible to submit your requests by post, writing to the Data Controller at the address provided in the previous paragraph ‘Data Controller’.

Extended cookie information and Cookie Policy

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that are automatically placed on the user’s computer within the browser. They contain basic information about internet browsing and are recognised each time the user visits the website through the browser.

By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies, but you can change this setting to prevent cookies from being installed.

Typically, cookies can be installed:

  • directly from the owner and/or manager of the website (so-called first-party cookies);
  • from third-party entities unrelated to the website the user visited (so-called third-party cookies).

This website may use, also in combination with each other, the following types of cookies classified according to the indications of the Privacy Authority and the opinions issued within the European context by the Working Group established under Article 29 of the GDPR:

Session cookies are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and are deleted when the browser is closed. They are strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers necessary to enable secure and efficient browsing of the site, and avoid using other potentially privacy-infringing technical methods.

Persistent cookies: these are cookies that remain stored on the computer’s hard drive until they expire or are deleted by users/visitors. Through persistent cookies, visitors who access the site (or other users using the same computer) are automatically recognised on each visit. Visitors can set their web browser to accept/reject all cookies, or to display a warning whenever a cookie is offered, so they can decide whether to accept it. Users can, however, modify the default settings and disable cookies (i.e., block them permanently) by setting the highest protection level.

Technicians: these are cookies used for authentication, to access multimedia content such as Flash Player, or to select the browsing language. In general, it is therefore not necessary to obtain the user’s prior and informed consent. This also includes cookies used solely for statistical analysis of site access/visits, provided they are used exclusively for statistical purposes and the information is collected in an aggregated form.

Non-technical: these cookies are used for profiling and marketing purposes. Their use on users’ devices is prohibited unless they have been properly informed beforehand and have given valid consent. This category includes so-called Analytics cookies, which are used to collect and analyse statistical information about website access and visits.

Cookies present on this website

Technical cookies that do not require consent

  • Session/navigation cookies (first-party cookies): these are cookies that allow the use of the website’s functionalities without storing personal data. Such cookies, for example, enable reporting errors when filling out a contact form or when viewing content in your language.
  • Anonymous statistical cookies (third-party cookies): these are statistical cookies (Google Analytics) installed by Google Inc. These statistical cookies use IP address anonymisation techniques and therefore do not store any personal user data, but only aggregated statistical data. We also remind you that Google provides suitable tools for disabling Google Analytics cookies. Further information on privacy in Google Analytics is available at this link: https://marketingplatform.google.com
